Really do think Toone will score double figures this season. Watching us last season we rarely tried to counter attack through Russo's hold up play. Whether through instructions or ability, she'd rarely try to turn and play a diagonal to one of the wingers and more often win a foul/throw or pass back to recycle possession.
Think if (big if) Geyse can take the ball down and pass like she did for Toone's goal v lpool then we can score a lot more in transition this season. Tooney thrives on the counter, slotting into the front 3 and finding the space.
Also the Tooney revenge tour as the only one on a long term deal with her friends all leaving would be a 10/10 narrative so it must happen.
